 Pet tips

For those of us that have to haul hay to some of our animals:  Did that snow drift seperate you from the feeding area, again?  Do you have to find a way to get the feed to the animals but you can't get your truck through?  This last snow storm we placed the hay on a tarp and ran baling twine through the holes on the tarp to draw it  in like a bag.  The tarp drags across the snow drifts rather easily.  Drag it into the corral (or wherever) and dump it right where you want it.

Does your horse get bored with the farrier when it's time for the last hoof?  Take a moment to calm yourself and the horse.  Inhale deeply and release slowly, three times.  Now let the farrier resume the job.

 Household tips

This is the best oven cleaning tip I ever got.  Put your oven racks, broiler tray, things of that nature that have cooked on black junk into a large black trash bag.  If the bag is thin you may choose to double up.  Pour in a cup of amonia and seal it up tight.  Place it outside if possible.  Let it sit for 12 hours or more.  WARNING:  when you open the bag be sure your face is not over the bag.  Do not inhale the fumes.  Open outside if possible.  The black junk will clean right off.  No hard scrubbing.  You might use a cleaning blade to get in the crannies if you want to clean it that much.  This will cause some discoloration on some metals, so be careful if you place something in the bag that you don't want alterered.  Oven racks don't matter but drip pans will.
