Ready for Adoption
(A portion of all adoption fees are applied to animal alterations when appropriate. We make an effort to have all our male animals fixed before leaving our property to help cut back on over population and unwanted, abused and neglected animals.
Desert Rose
Rose has finally put on enough weight to find her a new, loving home. We will be raffling her off at Murdoch's in Cheyenne on July 31, 2010. These first few pics are from when she came in last fall. She was emaciated and had a 6 wk colt on her side. He has stayed on her side to this day. Due to the nursing colt it took Rose quite some time to put some good weight on. She still has a ways to go but she is so much better now. Desert Rose is approximately 6 yrs old. She is a Calico Mountains, Nevada mustang. This is a beautiful and amazing animal. 
Look at those boney hips. A horse should never look like that.
